  1. VijanaFM, what are your plans on reaching the type of youths seen in min 23:00 – they’re begging commission for customer supply? I think this platform should aim towards reaching such people as well. Great job though!

  2. Anita, thank you for the suggestions.

Well, I will try to answer your question(s) briefly to the best of my knowledge, as things stand right now. Firstly I would like to say, yes, we are working towards reaching the type of youths you saw on the film. As you know, the youths who are in need (of info, education etc.) don’t have access to internet or any other luxuries you and I have. So the idea of just posting stuff here seems useless, doesn’t it? Since chances are that most people who visit this website are well-off or doing fine anyway…

Anyways, we hope our website viewers learn something from these documentaries; just to know what is happening on the other side of the coin. And in the meantime we are working hard towards having some sort of a free media platform for the youths back home – aiming at educating the youths. So bear with us.

We all know it’s not easy, and surely your thoughts, views and prayers will be needed (don’t hesitate to drop us a line and please, do spread the word).

As a group, Vijana FM started to function in late February and I do believe we will get there.. hopefully by the end of this year.

    Thank you.

Lucky kapatia jezi mpya anaonekana mali kijijini yeye peke yake ana jezi yenye namba mgongoni (halafu wakambania mpira wanam”ku”la chenga tu). Nimefurahi sana!
