Design competition for youth In developing countries

Design For the First World is a competition that allows Individuals in developing countries aged 13 and up to participate in a designing challenge to help the first world. The concept derives from the idea that often times developing countries are told how to solve their problems from developed countries. This competition seeks to educate and address first world issues. The design should have a creative solution and should aim to have powerful ideas.

The deadline is July 1st 2010, 11:59 pm EST

The winner for best design and solution will receive a cash prize and will be featured in a design catalogue as well as their work will be displayed in a gallery in NYC. The best project will receive $1000 dollars.
