When I went to visit TBC 1 in Dar-es-Salaam this summer, I ran into two young gentlemen who happened to be none other than Bongo flava artists Nas and Mad P.
They dropped me a sample of their newest track made with Stiuzz R&B and Dr. 0 through SEI Records, called Hali Halis.

safi sana AK, shukran kwa kutuletea hii nyimbo, nimewakubali hawa jamaa. Kazi nzuri, kwani naanza kuona nguzo za kushikilia bongo hip hop zinaongezeka taratibu. Ni kama mgonjwa ameanza kuamka, kwani watu kama akina Fid Q, wamekuwa ni mashine ya kuupa hip hop bongo uhai, (breathing machine) lakini sasa hip hop bongo imeanza kutoka kwenye coma taratibu taratibu….
Yup, I imagine we could do this for budding artists more often. If there is enough demand, it could push our agenda for an online radio station…
