  1. I can’t imagine what the old guy is trying to communicate…is it a million sad stories before and after independence…of diseases, poverty, lack of education, poor social services…?

  2. Babu: “Mwanangu January, you gotta realize that we’re expected to support the refugees from Burundi, but we need serekali’s support, and they ain’t helping us at all. You need to come back and assist directly here, it’s obvious hatuna akili shwari apo kuwasaidia wenzetu kutoka Burundi na Rwanda.”

    Makamba: “Sh*t.”

  3. Babu: Shikamoo mjukuu wangu.

    January: ?

Utani pembeni, January anaonekana yuko makini sana na vitu anavyofanya; kama mnavyojua siasa ya Bongo ni nzito. Nitajipinda na kuandika makala fupi kidogo ili tuchambue mambo kwa kina.

  4. Where did this January guy come from?? All of a sudden he is all over the press coz he wants to be in the Parliament..

Old man: Afathali umekuja mjukuu wangu unajua… (continues stating all the problems they have had..that no one has managed to resolve).

January: (Lemme act like I’m paying attention for the press..cant wait for this campaign to be over…cant I just win already)

  5. I can’t faulty him, the people of Bumbuli have spoken, who are we to oppose it, whether he had enough money to burn from his backers or through his shear persuasive power it doesn’t matter, they boy has won.

That was the easy part, the hard part now is to represent the Bumbuli people, they need, water, electricity, health, welfare, education and basic infrastructure, will January deliver?

Let’s hope so, I don’t give a toss whether his family were influential in the elections, we needed new blood, you can’t teach old dogs new tricks, it’s our time, if my fellow walalahoi would like to have a go, no sweat, but let’s give him our support, lets chip in our points and remind him not to get that common “Tz Mp’s disease”!

Oh yes, once they get into that bunge, they tend to forget all the promises and the people who elected them!
    Let’s hope not!
