Who is Nneka?

Nneka Egbuna is a new blood of social and political consciousness flowing through the veins of the African continent.  She has been compared to Lauryn Hill, and if you listen to her lyrics, you’ll start to understand why. One of her famous song today is called heartbeat, very metaphorical.

Still doubt that music can connect and liberate people? I’ll suggest you listen to Nneka: Nnekaworld and Heartbeat (remix) feat. Nas.

If you cant get enough of her, check out another interview by CNN on Kenyan Vibe.
